Auctioneer’s Note: After more than 20 years of keeping Mid-Missouri timepieces accurately running, Pendulum Bob’s has closed their doors and for that reason will auction all remaining inventory of new and antique clocks, parts, tools, shelving, displays and more accumulated over the last 20 years. There is a nice selection of new Howard Miller floor, wall and shelf clocks as well as wrist watches, cuckoo clocks, floor clocks and other vintage and antique timepieces. There is also a large quantity of old and new clock parts, mostly well organized by type and maker. You won’t want to miss this auction! Bidding will be online only and preview and pickup will be at the store in the Forum Shopping Center in Columbia.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: All clocks listed as new are current new stock and include boxes and paperwork. All vintage and antique clocks are sold as is. Some are in working condition but most are project clocks. If we know the clock is in working condition, it is stated in the description. Otherwise you can assume they are possibly working, possibly not. Pendulums and keys are not included in vintage clocks unless specifically pictured or mentioned. PREVIEW AND PICKUP: If you are coming from a distance, it may be possible to view the inventory at other times. Please call us for details and to set a time. The building must be vacated by the end of February so any purchases left in the building at 5:00 PM February 25th will be considered to be abandoned and the bidder will still be responsible for payment. If you cannot make the designated pickup time, please contact us and we will try to make other arrangements for you. We can ship, deliver, or move your purchases for a fee, please contact us if you need any of those services. As always, we try to accommodate your needs, so contact us with any questions.

This is an online only auction with bidding through Proxibid. Bidding will end in numerical order with 2 items ending every minute. If there is bidding activity in the last 2 minutes, the end time will be extended 2 minutes until there is no further bidding for 2 minutes. Extending the end time for an item does not change the end time of the following item, so there may be several lots ending simultaneously. You may bid anytime up until the ending time for each item. TERMS: You will have to register to bid in this auction. The registration process with Proxibid is one-time. You will not have to go through the registration process for future auctions. If you do not wish to register with your credit card, please contact our office and we will assist you with options. If you have difficulty with registering or if you are unsure about the process, or if you just want help bidding, call our office and we will be glad to help you with it. Online bidders will pay a buyer’s premium of 15%. If you are local and want to pick up and pay for your items in person, we will lower the buyer’s premium to 10%.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING: We accept cash, credit cards, PayPal, and checks. Local buyers can use credit cards, cash, or personal check. Nothing will be removed from the auction site until it is paid for. WE WILL GLADLY SHIP ANY ITEM YOU WANT! If you want us to ship your items, the cost of packing and shipping will be added to your total and a new invoice will be sent to you showing the total due. PACKING AND SHIPPING…Packing and shipping will be handled in-house on smaller items. The cost of packing for clocks will be based on the size and complexity of the lot (a box lot of 20 movements will cost more than a single alarm clock). We are very reasonable on our charges and have a long track record of satisfied customers. For exceptionally heavy, fragile, awkward, or difficult lots, such as grandfather clocks, the packing charge will be based on the amount of materials and labor required. The actual cost of the postage will be added to the packing charge to determine the total shipping charge. You always have the option of picking up your items at our office. Our carriers of choice are FedEx Ground and USPS, if you have shipping preferences, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. We will make every effort to ship within 48 hours of auction end. If you have any questions about our shipping policies, please feel free to call or email info@blackandgoldauctions.com. Payment is expected within 48 hours of invoice for shipped items. If you wish to make payment arrangements other than credit card for shipped orders, we ask that you contact Black and Gold Auctions at least 24 hours before the auction. We will be happy to work with you in that way.
